Peter Christianson

Owner/Coach/Trainer

Peter found a love for fitness through the sport of boxing during the spring of 2000 when he began training at the Northridge Athletic Club. In the fall of 2006, while pursuing his degree in Kinesiology at California State University, Northridge (CSUN), Peter become a boxing coach and began training others in general boxing techniques at the on-campus Fitness Centre. It was there Peter found his true calling to share the sport of boxing with others.

With his education and understanding of human movement and his ability to effectively break down complex boxing concepts, Peter developed a unique coaching style that resonated with fitness and boxing enthusiasts alike. He soon became the Boxing Coordinator for the Fitness Centre with the primary responsibility of training and developing others on effective coaching techniques. He also assumed the role of President and Head Coach of the CSUN Matador Boxing team from 2009-2010. Throughout this time, Peter not only competed as a USA Amateur Boxer but continued to coach and train others for amateur bouts as well as providing alternative work outs. To broaden his reach, Peter became a Certified Group Exercise Instructor and began teaching boxing and bootcamp fitness classes, bringing his coaching techniques to the masses.

After Graduating in 2012 with his Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology, Peter continued to advance his knowledge and skills by becoming a Certified Personal Trainer (CPT) and completing specialized training courses in both TRX ® Suspension Training and FitWall ®.

Peter’s determination to change the industry’s approach to boxing, led him to establish Victorious Boxing in 2013. Founded upon the philosophy of maximizing performance through proper form and technique, Victorious Boxing incorporates progressive training programs to help each client become victorious in achieving their personal health and fitness goals.

Amanda Christianson

Degreed Nutritionist/Trainer

Amanda was born and raised in a small town in the Antelope Valley. As an active child who spent most of her time after school at her aunt’s fitness facility, Amanda developed a love for fitness and wellness early in life. This love eventually grew into a desire to pursue a professional career path in fitness and wellness.

Amanda is an alumna of California State University, Northridge (CSUN). She earned her bachelors in kinesiology: exercise science and masters in family and consumer sciences with an emphasis in nutrition and dietetics. For her graduate project, Amanda developed a fitness and nutrition curriculum designed to educate adolescents about proper eating and exercising habits titled, “Knowledge for a Healthier You.”

Amanda has been a certified personal trainer since 2006 and holds a certification with the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA). Additionally, she has instructed group exercise classes since 2007 and is certified with the Aerobics and Fitness Association of America (AFAA), and trained as a group exercise instructor in Kettlebell Concepts, Ultimate Sandbag Training, Krankcycle®, Spinning®, TRX® Group Suspension Training, FitWall®, Peak Pilates® MVe Chair, and Schwinn®.

Amanda’s goal in life is to encourage others to live a healthier lifestyle by practicing what she preaches. Her motto is, “Take everything in moderation and you will live, love, and laugh for a lifetime.” In her free time, she enjoys exercising in a variety of modes both indoors and outdoors, along with expressing herself through art by painting and drawing. Most of all, she enjoys spending time with close family and friends.
